Imagine Halloween in Isla Vista, but a little smaller and with bars on Pacific instead of house parties on Del Playa. The cops were out in force and the fenced off streets were well lit. So well lit in fact that I was able to see: pacman eat a slutty pirate, a jedi get a concussion, smurfs sing a drinking song, and Santa Claus get hauled off by an ambulence. Speaking of Jedis, what the fuck is up with those fake light sabers of theirs? I remember in the movies you had to turn them on to fuck people up. But with these fake ones they're way more affective when they're off. I saw Darth Maul smack a shitload of people in the face with his double sided dingle dangle because it was off, had it been on those people would have easily seen and avoided a glowing plastic tube swinging towards their face. Had I been on shrooms like casper the ghost and his friend fred durst were I would have definitely freaked the fuck out. I was dressed up as a female, asian driver complete with visor and gloves. Only two people got it the entire night but it was worth it to see them laughing their asses off.
